Are The New York Yankees Building A Dream Team?

Are the New York Yankees building a dream team? Well Christmas day has come early for this team. They just added the best power hitter in Major League Baseball Gian Carlo Stanton. He will be adding his 59 home runs and 132 runs batted in for the most prominent team in baseball. This slugger has won the MVP Award, but this is only the beginning. I believe this was not a trade, but a robbery set up by former Super Star Derek Jeter a former New York Yankee. He is clearing the pay role and Marlins fans are facing another fire sale with anger and outrage. That’s the advantage of having a big market compared to a small market team like the Florida Marlins who has a limited budget. Life is not fair sometimes and the rich get richer and everyone else falls into line.

The New York Yankees in my opinion are putting together a dream team. They have 3 Super Stars who are not quite in their prime years and these other two players are Gary Sanchez and Aaron Judge who is the rookie of the year. They have multiple power players that could change a game and win on a consistence bases. I believe they should put up 7 or more runs in a game on most nights. Their rivals are the Boston Red Sox.  I just don’t see them beating the Yankees. The bombers will be crushing balls left to right. I predict they will play in the next World Series coming up in 2018. The crazy thing is this team is built for the present and future. Everything is clicking for the New York Yankees with a top 5 farm system, unlimited resources this evil empire is back.

Gleyber Torres is on his way soon, a top prospect could end up being another top player. Bryce Harper will be a free agent soon and if no deal is reached with the Nationals he could be signed by New York Yankees. I expect for Bryce Harper to become the highest paid player in the history of Major League Baseball. Now that the New York Yankees have two players like Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton that hit 60, and 59 home runs respectively, this duo will take over baseball. This lineup could challenge any team on the field. They have more electricity than a power plant. The Dodgers and Red Sox are in trouble and if the New York Yankees doesn’t win 120 games and the World Series. I will be disappointed.

I don’t know if it means it will benefit and make them a super team but can have potential. I do know if you get too many top players it can also fall apart because too many egos clashing. I also know sometimes when players change teams it can do more harm than good. I guess in time we will see if it will become of anything
